We’ll be honest. To the outsider, Colombia’s culinary prowess isn’t immediately obvious. But scratch its underbelly a little deeper, and you’ll find some of the most complex fare in South America.
Join one of our two food-obsessed guides in Bogota to get to the bottom of what Colombia food is all about. Taste its exotic fruits, dig into the magical world of lechona (that’s roasted suckling pig to me and you), sip on firewater aguadiente cocktails while tucking into innovate twists on classic dishes, visit old eateries that have been serving the great and good for more than 200 years and much, much more. Get ready for the feast of your life.
Sign off with an immersive coffee workshop tasting several different beans, watch different steeping techniques and understand why the country grows, roasts and brews some of the best cups of joe on Earth.
*Colombia's cuisine is immense, but unfortunately, it's not so suited to those with gluten and lactose allergies or vegetarians.
**Vendors take time off too, so we can't guarantee that every tour will be the same, but fear not, the day will always be packed with good stuff.
***If you're under 18, we can't serve you the cocktail, but there's a delicious mocktail with your name all over it.
"Born and bred in the capital, what Lina doesn't know about Colombian cuisine isn't worth knowing. Join her on our daily Bogota food tour to get to grips with the city's cuisine from historic eateries and local joints to upmarket restaurants. "

This tour is designed to help you experience the diverse Colombian cuisine and will especially be of interest to those who would like to combine this with a coffee tasting. The walk is moderate, with occasional ups and downs, as is to be expected in hilly Bogota. There is plenty of opportunity to rest and digest along the way.
