Every food tour we design is built on local knowledge. We enlist the help of chefs, cooks and foodies to discover hidden eats that would be impossible to find on your own.
We search high and low to find a food guide who knows their stuff. Some are chefs, others are passionate home cooks, but each one is evaluated on their knowledge of local cuisine.
Armed with our list and our guide, we test every street vendor and restaurant for its food quality and hygiene, weeding out those that don’t meet the cut.
You could be chatting with a vendor whose been selling the same dim sum for 50 years or diving into bakery to discover why they’ve been open for more than a century.
“...Mouri's excellent guidance and explanations made for a entertaining evening. It was a great experience. If you are in Chaing Mai, do not miss the opportunity to go on this tour. It will be a highlight of your visit.”
“Our evening with Chef Nutth was perfect. His insight into the tastes and more importantly the people creating the flavors of Bangkok was just what we were looking for. "
“This was exactly what I was looking for in a food tour -- I wanted to try new foods, see hidden spots in Chinatown, and I didn't want it to feel gimmicky. Nutth fulfilled all those criteria and exceeded my expectations.”
After travelling the world over, we became bored with the same mediocre food tour experiences. We wanted a tour which helped us really understand regional food, its history and the local ingredients being used. A tour which avoided sterile tourist traps and took us to the heart of the area’s food scene. A tour led by chefs, cooks and foodies.
