This truly exclusive tour is led by none other than Chef Yoshi Tezuka, the 4th generation sushi master at the 100-year-old Matsunozushi restaurant.

After being picked up from your hotel, Chef Yoshi will take you to the famed Tsukiji Fish Market. Chef will give you a deep understanding of the bustling market and Japanese eating culture. You’ll learn about the specialist knives used to create sushi and taste samples.

Next, you’ll be taken back to Chef Yoshi’s iconic Matsunozushi restaurant which he’ll open privately for you and your party. Sit at his private counter while Chef creates fine Edo-style sushi and introduces you to the craftmanship it takes to produce the dishes. It’s then time to roll up your sleeves and test your culinary skills as Chef Yoshi teaches you how to create your own sushi.

Chef Yoshi grew up learning the delicate art of making sushi, eventually taking over as the chef owner of the 100-year-old Mastsunozushi restaurant in Tokyo. Over the years, he's cooked for the British royal family, become one of the few chefs to be certified to cook blowfish and earned himself a master sommelier license.

Meeting point

If you are staying within Tokyo, your guide will pick you up from your accommodation or hotel. The tour finishes at Matsunozushi restaurant where your guide can help you book a taxi back. 

Cancellation Policy

A full refund can be offered if the tour is cancelled outside 14 days before departure. Within 14 days, no refund can be offered.
